Shreeyash Gowaikar

Hi there! I'm a research intern at Microsoft Research India, working on Generative AI applications in the Energy sector. I recently graduated in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, Goa with a minor in data science. My passion lies in AI Evaluations, Interpretive AI, and AI for Social Good.

Current and Past Affiliations
Collaborating with Sameer Segal, Srinivasan Iyengar, and Shivkumar Kalyanaraman on a super impactful Generative AI application in the Energy Sector. Collaborated with Prof. Shin Koseki and Dr. Hugo Berard, on fairness and preference learning tasks with applications in AI for Urban Planning. Worked in the Grimlock AI team for using Generative AI for Jira Service Management and Knowledge Base Automation! Collaborated with Prof. Amit Sheth and Prof. Amitava Das for creating novel evaluations for Language Models. Collaborated with Prof. Tanmay Tulsidas Verlekar as a part of the APPCAIR lab at BITS Goa.
